Success Guys! The campaign is officially over and we successfully raised almost $14k to bring both Yohance AND Mazenga to life! Here are some quick announcements:
Mazenga
Remember we needed to reach our stretch goal of $15k to make Mazenga a reality? Well we reached $13.7k here and an additional 1k in Add-ons and Pre-orders so we're all set! It will enter Pre-Preduction at the end of the year right when Yohance closes Pre and enters Production. From there, they will be produced parallel to each other with different teams. We're aiming for a Winter 2020 release as opposed to Yohance's Summer 2020 release.
The more money we make in add-ons, the more we can pour into Mazenga's production and move things along quicker.
Backerkit Surveys
Surveys are live! More than half of you have already completed them so thanks! Make sure you get yours in by the 15th so that there's no snag in delivering your perks.
Delivery
Digital Books will be delivered on the 15th with the exception of Pre-orders. Issue 1 of the Midas Monkee Magazine (as well as Pack 004 & Byala 01) will drop on the 24th. All new issues of subscriptions, books, and MMM issues will drop on the 24th of every month.
Physical books will be sent to print as soon as all the surveys are in. That will take a couple weeks then a few more to ship. So expect them by mid to late June. The same applies for physical perks such as T-Shirts and merch.
As mentioned earlier, both movies are set for a 2020 release.
Anyway, thanks so much guys!! I can't wait to get started on all this cool stuff ASAP. Finish those surveys and get yourself some add-ons!

Hey guys!
So we're almost at the end of this campaign and you know what that means: Perks! So here are a few important announcements:
1. Perk Delivery
So, most of you noticed that the original delivery date for most perks said April 2018. This was before we accounted for Indemand allowing us to extend the campaign by a few weeks and take in any last-minute backers. Also, Indiegogo doesn't let you update dates. That said, the campaign officially ends on the 5th -at which point, your Backerkit Surveys will be sent out. You then have 10 days to complete your survey.
Once that's done, all digital perks will be immediately delivered with the exception of the Midas Monkee Magazine which drops on the 25th of every month. Hard copies will take a little longer due to Issue 2 being printed on demand. This means that i have to wait until all the surveys are in before I can order and print them all. This puts the realistic ship date around July 1st. T-shirts and other physical perks will be shipped around this time too.
The movie will take about 2 years to complete so Digital copies won't be sent out before April 2020.
2. Backerkit Surveys
So this is where I get to speak directly to you the backers and tailor your orders to your exact specifications. This very important, so please make sure that you fill out your surveys by the 15th to ensure that your perks arrive without a glitch. This is also where you get Add-Ons.
3. Add-Ons
I have to admit, this has to be my favorite part of any campaign. As a backer, you'll get access to the Exclusive Add-On Catalog. This includes tons of amazing Midas Monkee items that you can add to your order. Most of these are only available as a part of this campaign or at huge discount prices. They include merchandise, apparel, Posters, Pre-orders, and much more. It's another way for me to show you how much I appreciate you guys.
Pledged more than your perk or selected no perk at all? No problem! Use your donation as credit to get free stuff anyway.
4. Stretch Goal: Mazenga
As most of you know, we have 3 days left on our campaign. That’s 3 days to raise $2.5k and reach our stretch goal of $15k! This will allow us to produce Mazenga. This Afro Cyberpunk Adventure takes place in the Yohance universe and follows the story of an ex-assassin who turns herself into a spirit of vengeance against those that tormented her as a child.
All Add-on sales go towards this goal so if you've already pledged, don't worry! You can still make this double dream happen.

So as you all know, we funded a few days ago. This means Yohance is finally going to the big screen! Production begins in 4 months but don't worry, there is a plethora of awesome stuff coming out of Midas Monkee during and beyond that time.
The Campaign will go on until May 5th via Indemand. This means that there's still time for anyone to still pledge and become a backer. Please spread the word! If we can get to $15k, we can start pre-production on another African Sci fi adventure: Mazenga. So Spread the Word!
